Bless GD Twin (Twin Edition) is a non-invasive prenatal screening technology specifically designed for twin pregnancies, aimed at addressing the complex biological characteristics of multiple pregnancies. Unlike single-fetus testing, this technology utilizes enhanced bioinformatics analysis and high-depth sequencing to accurately differentiate and analyze the cell-free DNA from both fetuses present in the maternal blood. It screens for 66 single-gene diseases across 34 genes, effectively identifying de novo (new) genetic mutations that could lead to intellectual disability, developmental delays, and physical structural abnormalities, including dwarfism and osteogenesis imperfecta (brittle bone disease).
