Bless GD (Non-Invasive Prenatal Screening for Single-Gene Diseases) focuses on detecting single-gene diseases (SGDs) caused by specific point mutations or small fragment deletions within genes. It screens for 66 single-gene diseases across 34 genes, effectively identifying de novo (new) genetic mutations that could lead to intellectual disability, developmental delays, and physical structural abnormalities, including dwarfism and osteogenesis imperfecta (brittle bone disease).
