Preparation
two-dose series should be administered 2 to 6 months apart
Eligibility
Adults aged 50 years and older | Adults aged 18 years and older with weakened immune systems or who are at a higher risk of infection due to disease or medical treatment (e.g., cancer patients, individuals with HIV, patients with autoimmune diseases, etc.) | Patients who have previously had shingles (herpes zoster), or those who have received the older live-attenuated shingles vaccine | Individuals with a past history of chickenpox (varicella) | Adults with chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure (hypertension), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or heart disease
