Preparation before the inspection
Do not schedule your test during your menstrual period.For 48 hours prior to the test, strictly avoid having sexual intercourse, using vaginal douches (washing inside the vagina), using tampons. Avoid using vaginal medications, suppositories, spermicidal foams, creams, or jellies.
